The site should look and function pretty much the same, but I've changed a few things in the underlying page design. Mostly the changes should mean the page loads or renders a bit faster.
But for mobile users, I'm trying out a new (to the site) way of doing menus. Instead of the menu always being visible, there is a button where the menu usually is. Clicking on it will make the menu spring forth. Click the button again (or outside the menu) and the menu disappears. The main benefit is there is more space for actual content - the menu in the old design took up about 1/3rd of width which is quite a lot of space.
I'd appreciate peoples thoughts on the new mobile menu if you have any. Or let me know if there is anything that isn't working or looking right.
